Assignment #22- Faces of the world !

Part A : Hello we are doing our first geography assignment.
              If you want to read more about it , click HERE.
              This is where I found the definition of what globalization is CLICK.
              Now for my definition of what globalization means : Globalization is so many things, it could mean
                                                                                             country's trading , it's socitey's and politics too.




  

Part B : There is this cool website that Ms.Pollock showed us it's called facereasearch . 

              What you do is you play around with so many different faces and you average them up and get 

               one "average" face .

                

How to average a face : Okay so pretty much all you have to do is click on faces and then click on view average and it will average up the faces.



Part C:   While I was playing around with faceresearch I  noticed that the averaged face has a piece of
               everyone.
               I think that the "face of  tomorrow" means what our next generation will look like.
              What I mean by that is our next generation of people will be a what we call "averaged" baby , it will
               be from different races.
             

              Something that really surprised me when I was playing around was I averaged up 3 ugly guys and got
              not bad of a looking guy.


    
Part D:

Here is what I think the face of tomorrow  face of a girl will be .

             

The reason of why I think this is the "face of tomorrow"
is because , I averaged up every race and this is what I got !

like I said with the girl I averaged up every race.




Part E: I don't think I have a face that represents me because I could really be from any country.
             If it was'nt for my hejab people would'nt have knew that I was from an arab country.
            Also Iraqi's don't realy have a specifc skin colour , hair , eyes, noes etc.
            So I would say no I don't have a face that shows my identity.

Assignment #21 : History fair reflection !

Hello !
I'm working on my history fair reflection !

4 - The four most interesting things that you learned about your topic in your researching.
The four most interesting things that I learned about powwows were :
1. You don't have to be native to attend powwows.
2. I learned about how the feathers are very sacred.
3. I learned that the food that they have at powwows is fries,hamburgers.....
4. I also learned that the youngest dancer could be 4 .




3 - Three things that you felt proud of on the day of the Fair.The 3 things that I was proud of were :
1. How our board looked like in the end.
2 .How much information me and Tara learned.
3.Our skit I really liked it I thought it was neat short and not boring !



2 - Two specific researching or presentation techniques that were helpful to make your project so wonderful.
Two presentation techniques are:
1. Do not look at your audience when you perform , because it gets some people nervous sometimes.
2.When you interview someone it's easier than researching about your topic.


1 - One suggestion to make the History Fair even better in the future.
A suggestion that I have for you is make the history fair shorter or at least have a break in between because people get bored and tired.

Assignment #19 - If I had $100

Hello earth, this is assignment number 19.
We are doing the same assignment as the Oshawa kids.(hello kids)
The organization that I choose was Children's Wish :) I choose Children's wish because  I think it's very important to give something that a child wants to them because usually people remember the things that happened to them when they were kids and I think those memories should be good.


The item that I choose to donate money for is Enormously Entertaining (share).
This item is a TV that previews concerts,movies.....
So the kid can enjoy a good movie/concert with there family and all they have to do is seat at home and watch.






This donation only costs me $100.
