Assignment #26 - Where Children Eat and Sleep.

So Mrs.Pollock has us working on another assignment !
This assignment is very interesting we are looking at different areas of where people sleep and eat.

The ideal home that would be in Jumanica would have 3 bedrooms,  2 bathrooms, a basement , a backyard, a kitchen and a living room !
The Ideal family would have 3 kids !
In Jumanica they have this type of pie called cheese pie , they have it for breakfast often.
If you ever go and visit a Jumanican family there is a 90% chance that they would feed you cheese pie for breakfast !

Luke - Hello everyone !
           I am Luke !
           I live in Jumanica .
           I have two sisters named Jade and Olivia
           My family owns a farm.
           I go to school everyday and when I come back I help out with the farming !
           On special occasions I get to help out my mom with making cheese pie !
           Sometimes she even let's me milk the cow !

Assignment #23 Canada and China

Hello world !
In our class will be joining us two new Chinese students !



I have been doing some research to compare China and Canada.
There are some interesting things that I have noticed like : the number of  people that die in china is much lower then the number of people in Canada.
I think that China has better health care.
I also think that Canadians don't take care of them selves as well as Chinese people do.
I would say that Canadians are also "lazy" because most of them spend there time on the internet.
Also the education in China is taken more seriously then the education here in Canada.
The children in China have to go to school early in the morning at around 5:00 am - 6:00 pm and then when they come home they spend hours working on homework.
In China they don't have many holidays like us here in Canada.

Assignment #25 :Jumanh's Childhood Top Ten

Jumanh's top ten childhood memories :
1.) The Bernstein bears.
     After I got back from school my mom would set me in front the t.v
     and turn it to tvo kids for me to watch the brenstain bears.
    It was something that I did everyday after school.
   


      

                                        
 2.)Bratz !
     I think the reason why I liked Bratz and not Barbie was because
     I thought Bratz was for older girls , and I always thought that Bratz
     was like a "cooler" version of barbie !

3.) Love you Forever by Robert Munch.
     When I was 4 my mom bought me
     this book from the book fair !
     I loved it because it had a cute little story
    and he had animals !
    I loved animals when I was younger !

#4.) Nintendo 64 
       This was one of my favorite games on the Nintendo.
       Me and my siblings would always play this.
       It was ones of those games that you can never get bored of , I still love to play it !

#5.) 50 below zero 
       50 Below zero was one of my favorite books .
       It's a cute little story about a little native girl.
       And It's by Robert Munsch.

#6.) Five Little Monkeys Jumping On The Bed.(Eillen Christelow)
       This is a book that brings back so many good memories.
       It was a book that I loved so much because it was about
       monkeys and I love monkeys.

#7.) Chicka Chicka Boom Boom ( JR Bill Martin , John Archambault )
        Chicka chicka boom boom was how I learned my alphabet.
        In kindergarten my teacher Mrs.Clayton used to always read us this book . ( It's also a song )

  #8.) Beatles.
         When I was 3 I used to look for Beatles around the apartment and eat them. 
         One day my mom realized that I was eating Beatles and took me to the hospital
          to get my stomach all cleaned up.
         They made me drink allot of stuff so that I can go to the bathroom and get rid of some of it.
          That's the story of why I  Beatles mean so much to me.

      #9.) Rice.
             When I was little I loved rice.
              It was my favorite thing to eat.
              I'm not sure why But it was !

#10.) Tweety.
         Tweety was one of my favorite cartoon characters.
         I'm not sure why I liked him but he's so cute .
         And he has a funny character.

Assignment #24: Canadian Political Parties

Hello blog viewers !
Today's assignment is about the election's that we will be going on today , and so Mrs.Pollock  has us looking at the different parties that our parents will be able to vote for, since we are not old enough to vote and we don't know much about it she had us check out this article.
Mrs.Pollock gave us 2 choices of what we can do for this assignment I choose  choice B :

For choice B you are asked to say who you would vote for and why !
I would have to choose the Libreal  party because they support families well without raising your taxes .

1.)They help students that want to go to collage or university , but there family doesn't have enough money for them .
2.)They will give affordable daycare !
3.)They will help you with your loved ill ones

As you can see the liberal  party helps out allot with a family in need :)
